Okay folks,
We invite you to take some time in prayer and then respond the the following two questions:
> What does the Spirit declare to you about our church’s future (clarify the win; John 16:13)?
> If our church were closed permanently, what would you look for in a new church?
We ask these questions because we believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in each and every believer and will guide us in truth and declare to us the things to come.
Please respond to these questions by clicking “Comments” above. If you would like to remain anonymous, feel free to put in a made up name and use Pastor Dave’s email ([email protected]) address in the email box.
Thanks in advance for your sharing!
> What does the Spirit declare to you about our church’s future (clarify the win; John 16:13)?
I am not confidant in my ability to discern the difference between the Spirit’s declarations and my own perceptions on this matter. However, I will say that as a relative newcomer, I feel a strong sense of community and love for one another, and I certainly benefit from the teaching and exhortation that I experience at Rose Park. If I extrapolate from this about the future direction, with the assumption that we are being sensitive (or at least want to be sensitive) to the Spirit’s presence and guidance, then I would expect significant future growth in our portion of the Body (by growth I do not necessarily mean more people, but more depth in our members).

I would seek a place where I could grow in Christ via service and contemplation.
