Rev. David VanOpstall

Dave VanOpstall grew up in Grandville, Michigan, just a short drive away from Holland.  After attending Hope College and receiving a degree in Business and Political Science, he pursued his call into ministry.  Upon completion of Western Theological Seminary in 2006, he accepted the call to be the pastor at Rose Park.  He is passionate about the church being the church, and not just doing church.  He loves Jesus!  In his relaxation time, he enjoys reading, camping, climbing rocks, and playing any sport.  In 2005 he married Tracy, the absolute, hands down love of his life.  They currently live in Holland with their two cats, Max and Maggie.  Contact him at [email protected]

Pastor Teddy Davis

Teddy Davis is our newest addition to the Rose Park team.  Teddy is called to minister to the youth of our church and the surrounding area.  Through his diverse background and local connections Teddy is able to provide a wide ranging curriculum to involve our students in service, worship, and discipleship.  Teddy loves God and loves students!  Contact him at [email protected]

Carol Beverwyk

Carol is Rose Park’s master organist – a position she has held for over 30 years.  She also organizes and directs special music and the handbell choir.  During the week she keeps our building clean and shiny.  Carol lives in Holland and has 5 children, multiple grandchildren and two beautiful great grandchildren!

Josh & Laura Canan

Josh and his wife Laura have been a permanent fixture in the city of Holland for a while.  Although they grew up riding the same bus to the same school, romance didn’t hit until they were working together in a local church with youth and music after college.  Since then, they have helped start two church plants and have an amazing gift and passion for leading worship.  Josh spends the rest of his week teaching life and leadership at a Holland academy while Laura tends to the sick as a nurse at Holland Hospital.  Together they have two beautiful girls and live in Zeeland.  Contact Laura at [email protected]

Rog Wolters

Rog and his wife Bonnie have been members of Rose Park for a good long time.  After years in the metal rolling industry, Rog has joined the team at Rose Park as our facility manager.  He heads up our property team and basically makes sure everything physical around the church runs smoothly.  He is also the contact for building rental or anything you might need to borrow.  He loves Michigan football, dogs, and doing projects for Bonnie around the house.

Joyce Dora

Joyce is our office coordinator and we could not do anything without her!  While not in the office, Joyce is an active LifeGroup leader, GEMS leader, and works with Mission Possible in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.  If that’s not enough, she is also a licensed general contractor and professional painter.  There’s not a lot she and her husband Bill cannot do!  Joyce can be contacted at [email protected]
