The Connection

In 2006, Rose Park entered the Faith In Youth Partnership, a group of faith based organizations (headed by Good Samaritan Ministries) committed to supporting underserved middle school youth in the greater Holland area.

The Connection is one way we accomplish that. Right now, it looks like an after school program but as we look to serve the schools in ways they need it's bound to look different.

The Numbers

Since September of 2006, the Faith in Youth Partnership has:
- Served over 800 youth
- Provided over 5,000 hours of mentoring
- Provided 23,000 hours of after school activities
- Mobilized over 200 volunteers

Faith In Youth Partnership

Rose Park Reformed is part of the Faith In Youth Partnership. Good Samaritan Ministries has written a grant which provides AmeriCorps Volunteers to build capacity in local faith based organizations for at risk mentoring and after school programming. We are honored to be a part of such a progressive vision.
