Vacation Bible School
Egypt: Joseph’s Journey From Prison to Palace!
A summer Vacation Bible School event called "Egypt" will be hosted at Rose Park Reformed Church from June 14th to June 17th, 9:00 AM - 12:00PM. Children from preschool to 5th grade will step back in time at Egypt, exploring the life of Joseph! Kids will participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Egyptian eats, visit Joseph in prison and then in his palace home, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word.
Kids at Egypt will also be participating in Mission Possible's "School Lunches for Haiti" by bringing in change and cash each day. Every $4.08 collected will provide school lunches for a Haitian student for a whole month! This is a simple way that kids can share God's love with other children in need.
At the end of "Egypt" VBS, there will be a great Celebration Night for all the children and their families. Parents, Grandparents and other siblings are invited to join in on the Egyptian adventure, watch the kids perform fun songs and see the end of Joseph's story. Everyone is also invited to enjoy a delicious pig roast picnic dinner! Celebration Night will be Thursday, June 17th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM.
