About Us

Rose Park Reformed Church is a church in journey.  Jesus once said to a religious leader, "The wind blows wherever it pleases.  You hear it's sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."  As times and culture changes, God does not.  But God's methods for reaching new people, discipling followers, and bringing the gospel blow this way and that.  As journeyers with Jesus, we seek to look for the wind, not try and control it.  Who is Jesus seeking out and drawing to himself now?  How can we get involved in the mission of Jesus?  What is Jesus doing right here, right now, in me?

Life is a journey.  Faith is a journey.  God's glory is our destination.  That desination does not change, but our paths may look very different.  Will you join us on this journey?  Click a bit on the links to the left and find out a little more about who we are and where we're headed.

Current Sermon Series

microphone_small.jpgOur culture is becoming saturated with books and movies attacking religion.  Some say it would be best if religion ceased to exist.  Others claim all religions are the same and we should all just get along.

What are we to do with issues of faith, religion, and doubt?  Come and find out.  We hope these messages will be a starting point for a new dimension of faith and truth.

1.  Doubt:  What do we do with our doubts? (Oct. 12)

2.  Suffering: How could a good God allow so much evil? (Oct. 26)

3.  Exclusivity: How can there be just one true religion? (Nov. 2)

4.  Absolutism: Don't we all have to find truth for ourselves? (Nov. 9)

5.  Hell: How could a loving God send people to hell? (Nov. 16)

6.  Injustice: Aren't Christians just hypocrites who don't practice what they preach? (Nov. 23)
