Dave VanOpstall grew up in Grandville, Michigan, just a short drive away from Holland.  After attending Hope College and receiving a degree in Business and Political Science, he pursued his call into ministry.  Upon completion of Western Theological Seminary in 2006, he accepted the call to be the pastor at Rose Park.  He is passionate about the church being the church, and not just doing church.  He loves Jesus!  In his relaxation time, he enjoys reading, camping, climbing rocks, and playing any sport.  In 2005 he married Tracy, the absolute, hands down love of his life.  They currently live in Holland with their two cats, Max and Maggie.

Adam is the Youth Director responsible for junior and senior high programming and counseling.  He grew up in Iowa and received his degree in art and mathematics.  While in school he found his way to Camp Geneva where he met and later married his wife, Jenna.  He loves making stuff (anything from t-shirts to this web site) but is mostly passionate about helping students discover the radical lover named Jesus.

Carol is Rose Park's master organist - a position she has held for over 30 years.  She also organizes and directs special music and the handbell choir.  During the week she keeps our building clean and shiny.  Carol lives in Holland and has 5 children, multiple grandchildren and one beautiful great grandchild!

Lin Strabbing has been working as a secretary at Rose Park part-time for over 30 years.  She was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area.  Lin graduated from Kelloggsville High School and also attended GRCC & Grand Valley. She has been married to Ken for 34 years.  They have two daughters, a son, a son-law and two grandchildren.  Lin and Ken enjoy traveling, especially by train and have been all over the country many times.

Tracy grew up in Holland and lives with her gorgeous husband (I think the gorgeous husband wrote that part!) and two fun cats!  After graduating a semester early from Hope College, Tracy entered Western Theological seminary part time where she met her husband, Dave. They were married in July of 2005.  This May (2008) she will finish her Masters of Divinity degree and graduate! Tracy serves as Rose Park's Adult Ministry Director. She has a passion for small group ministries, Hebrew and the Old Testament. In her spare time (what's that?!) Tracy also works part-time at Borr's Shoes in downtown Holland.

Mike is the worship leader at our contemporary service, the Table.  He's been playing guitar and bass for a long time and comes to us after helping lead worship at various area churches.  A graduate of Calvin College in 2008, Mike enjoys politics, boating, and most recently enrolled in law school.

Vern and Barb have been members of Rose Park almost since it started over 50 years ago.  Currently, they are the facility managers and make sure everything works the way it should and is set up properly.  We'd be totally lost without them!
